چکیده
The free-piston Resonance Stirling engine forms a new “ electricity producing heating system ”. Its compact assembly operates reliably and at high efficiency, setting standards for small systems. Complete units are currently submitted to prolonged test program, preparing their production an industrial scale. engines heated from outside by FLOX-burner (flameless flue gas recirculation burner), exposing the working temperatures. Even low excess air rates gases virtually free of pollutants. pistons this resonance concept oscillate in perfectly stable mode, entailing important cyclic pressure swing gas. electric efficiency exceeds 25% total (electricity + useful heat) lies above 90%. power fuel is used with benefit, promising widespread application technology.

Numerical Simulation of Beta Type Stirling Engine Considering Heat and Power Losses
In this paper, numerical solution of beta-type Stirling engine was presented considering its non-ideal regenerator. To this end, the second-order model including heat and power losses was used. Then, a numerical code was applied for calculating geometrical and physical optimum values of the engine. To confirm the obtained results, the physical and geometrical parameters of the GPU-3 engine were...
متن کاملInternal Combustion Engine Model for Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Systems Design
A model based, energy focused, quasi-stationary waste heat driven, internal combustion engine (ICE) centred design methodology for cogeneration (heat and electricity) systems is presented. The developed parametric model could be used for system sizing, performance evaluation, and optimization. This paper presents a systematic approach to model the behaviour of the CHP system using heat recovery...
متن کاملEfficiency Bound of a Solar-driven Stirling Heat Engine System
A solar-driven Stirling engine is modelled as a combined system which consists of a solar collector and a Stirling engine. The performance of the system is investigated, based on the linearized heat loss model of the solar collector and the irreverisible cycle model of the Stirling engine affected by finite-rate heat transfer and regenerative losses. The maximum efficiency of the system and the...
